At GTE Track Spray, we employ a variety of methods for communicating with our team. We understand the importance of clear and concise methods, especially when working on the rail corridors. Our administration team are heavily involved with distributing relevant bulletins to all staff at GTE in a timely manner.
These demands have seen our business develop the use of cloud software to exchange and view documents over various secure digital platforms. GTE staff are trained at toolbox meetings to utilise our cloud platforms to access important client bulletins, such as safeworking procedural changes and additions, new regulatory compliance law updates and internal forms access.
Reducing Paper Waste
GTE staff have adapted easily to using the digital documents, and in particular, the digital forms that are used to convey all important information on a daily basis, such as spray data sheets so that we can keep to our regulatory time requirements for reporting information about our weed spray services. In addition to physical copies, registers such as the SDS information packs are also viewable for our staff.
Various crossings and signal line maps are sectioned and made available with a search function, saving valuable time looking for the area of interest. Large books such as the VEU save a large amount of space in the vehicle cabs, keeping the driving area more free of objects and allowing better organisation. In addition to practical advantages, we are also cutting down the amount of paperwork we are printing, which in turn also helps our environment.
