GTE takes safety seriously.
In this specialised field, there are many safety risks we need to mitigate. Personal safety for our staff is an important aspect of keeping them safe and able to perform their tasks adequately. Even with the most stringent procedures in place, accidents do occasionally occur. GTE want their staff to feel confident they know what action to take should a situation occur where first aid is an appropriate reaction.
GTE recently ran a first aid workshop at our head office for all staff, to ensure everyone felt more comfortable about the possibility of needing to provide first aid if and when necessary.
Our staff found the trainer was excellent in his delivery, and all staff came away with either some new learning, or renewed confidence in the skills and knowledge provided.
