Our team of Operations Staff will be completing further training for the ARTC/RIW Safeworking Competencies as per Bulletin #51 in late May this year.
The aim of this initiative is to maintain our high level of specialized training and industry compliance. ARTC recently switched some competencies to mandatory as part of their revised Safe-working roles for June 1st 2017. GTE understands the importance for our staff to feel confident and knowledgeable in their workplace environment, and that in turn, helps to keep our staff safe and productive, and to further extend this to keeping the railway corridor safe and incident free.
Our choice to provide whole team training sessions also offers an excellent opportunity for further team development that benefits the whole company.
So while the rest of us may be staying in bed a little longer now that the temperature has dropped into chilly weather, our boys are working hard to continue another busy season leading into the winter months of 2017.
